PMAPS 2014 Topics

News 4

The PMAPS conference covers all aspects of probabilistic and statistical modelling of power systems. Topics of interest include:

  • Renewables integration
  • Asset management
  • Generation adequacy
  • System reliability analysis
  • Markets and economics
  • System operation and control
  • System planning
  • Probabilistic power flow
  • Smartgrids and microgrids
  • Monte Carlo simulation methods
  • Uncertainty assessment
  • Reliability of generation technologies
  • Reliability aspects of power systems communications
  • Seismic events, weather, and other external influences on power system reliability

However the above list is not exhaustive, and the conference welcomes papers on any power systems application of probabilistic methods. We emphasise to authors that this is a conference on probabilistic and statistical methods in power systems applications; any paper which is outside this scope will be rejected however great its technical merits.
